?Law on the association of citizens?

A citizens? organization is an association of citizens that aims to meet and represent the legal, social, economic, professional and other general interests of its members. According to the law of Ukraine ?On association of citizens? the founders of these organizations can be citizens of Ukraine and other countries, persons without citizenship, which are at least 18 years, and in relation to youth and child’s organizations ? minimum 15 years old.

This law determines the general principles on charity, and provides the legal base for regulating the relationship with the public regarding development of charitable activities, strengthening human support and benevolence. It guarantees the state support for its participants and regulates the terms of activity for charitable organizations in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
